Givinco, half for Juventus half for Parma

Turin - There is a change of ownership status of Sebastian Giovinco. Midfielder nicknamed the Atomic Ant has now become the common property of Juventus and Parma.
Giovinco started joining Parma in August 2010. The Italian came to the Ennio Tardini on loan from Juventus.

Parma has the option to buy 50 percent of the rights to Giovinco at the end of the 2010/2011 season.

Parma has taken that option. "Juventus FC Parma Football Club have confirmed they took the option to buy 50 percent of the rights to Sebastian Giovinco worth 3 million euros to be paid within three years," the statement from Juve through his official website, as quoted from Football-Italy (22 / 6 / 2011).

"This agreement shall come into force as of 1 July 2011, will benefit around 2.7 million euros to finance Juve in season 2011/2012."

Bianconeri originally hoped to bring home Giovinco in the season 2011/2012. But the players concerned preferred to remain to defend I Crociati.

Giovinco joined Juventus in 2006. He was loaned out to Empoli a year ago.
